Antique Show Sponsors Needed to Support Garfield Farm Museum Program and Biography

CAMPTON HILLS, IL: Garfield Farm Museum is looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor ads in the program booklet and abridged Timothy P. Garfield biography for the 56th Annual Fox Valley Antiques Show.

The show is run by the Chicago Suburban Antique Dealers Association (CSADA) and takes place on March 9th & 10th. It's held at the Kane County Fairgrounds and typically features over 55 dealers. The CSADA has generously selected the museum as the beneficiary of the show again this year.

All copy is due by February 15th. Proceeds from the show and program booklet benefit Garfield Farm Museum in Campton Hills. The museum is a non for profit, privately funded project that has been in existence since 1977. It strives to show what life was like back in the 1840's when the Garfield Family owned and operated the farm and tavern.

Visitors attending the show receive a program booklet containing a map of the show and an abridged biography of Timothy P. Garfield. This biography provides a great deal of detail about life in Vermont before and after  Garfield moved to the prairies of Illinois.

Extra copies of the program booklet are handed out to visitors at the museum over the course of the year, so the booklet has a shelf life after the show. The museum distributed over 2000 booklets last year.   Ad space is available ranging from business card size ads for $60 to full page ads for $200. This a unique opportunity for businesses and individuals to advertise their products and services to a select clientele while at the same time helping out the museum. For details, contact the museum at 630-584-8485 or info@garfieldfarm.org.
