Vegetable & Antique Flower Exhibitors Needed
for August 27 Heirloom Garden Show
Not planting our gardens for three years and the spring/summer drought has been a challenge here at Garfield Farm Museum, as exhibitors are being recruited for the Sunday August 27 Heirloom Garden Show. Heirloom gardeners who would like to display, offer for tasting, sell produce or flowers or offer seeds can have complimentary table space. The show is an educational effort to make the public more aware of the historic genetic diversity of plants that are not seen in the mass market place. A registration deadline of August 15th will allow for publicity to be sent in time for the show. The show is from 11 am - 4 pm with an $8 donation for adults and $3 for children under 13 years. The museums gardens, prairie, and historic 1846 brick inn will be interpreted. Volunteers are welcome.
Please email email@example.com or call 630 584-8485 to register for a table, to volunteer or for any inquiries.
