Exhibitors Needed for Heirloom Garden Show

Antique and heirloom gardeners are invited to display, give samples, lecture, and/or sell some of the fruits and flowers of their labors at Garfield Farm Museum's 17th Annual Heirloom Garden Show on August 27th from 11 am to 4 pm.
The Annual Garden Show encompasses all varieties of old-fashioned vegetables, fruits and antique flowers.  Gardeners from backyard enthusiasts to large producers of heirloom fruits and vegetables are welcome to and encouraged to come and show their special plants. Members of the Seed Savers Exchange will have displays, samples, lectures and sales.  The show has enjoyed much popularity in previous years, drawing anywhere from five hundred to one thousand visitors depending upon weather conditions and publicity.
Garfield Farm Museum is located 5 miles west of Geneva, IL, off of Illinois Rt. 38 on Garfield Road. Garfield Farm is a former historically intact 1840s prairie farmstead and teamster inn that is being restored as a working 1840s farm.  Interested gardeners can contact the museum by calling (630) 584-8485 or emailing info@garfieldfarm.org for further information.
