Winter Creative Writing Workshop at Garfield Farm Museum

Campton Hills, IL-    On Sunday, January 24 at 1 pm experience the beauty of winter's majesty across native landscapes and become inspired for an afternoon of creative writing and discussion led by Crystal Hollis, MA. The open prairie and wooded landscapes are hushed with snow but life indoors is abuzz with activities. Participants should bring a pen, paper, bottled water, comfortable shoes for walking, and dress accordingly for the weather.

All experience levels are welcome to participate in this writing skills session.  Ms. Hollis has studied under several published authors and earned her MA in Creative Writing in London. Her fall and spring workshops were very well received and the vocal Narragansett turkeys have become a favorite and the subjects of several writings. Past attendees are currently in the progress of publishing a collection of their writings based on their afternoons at the farm and attendees of this workshop can look forward to this process as well.

Interested persons should contact info@garfieldfarm.org or call 630-584-8485. There is a $6 donation to the museum for the workshop. Garfield Farm Museum is located at 3N016 Garfield Road in Campton Hills, IL.
